Here at Aspire People, we are seeking an SEN Sports and PE Coach to join a renowned SEN school on the outskirts of Northamptonshire.
This specialist school supports over 200 pupils aged 4 to 18 with diverse needs, including profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), severe learning difficulties (SLD), moderate learning difficulties (MLD), and complex learning challenges. Many pupils also have additional needs such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN). Recent achievements include winning SEND School of the Year, Headteacher of the Year, and overall School of the Year at the Northamptonshire Education Awards 2022.
About You
We are looking for a Sports & PE Coach to deliver a high-quality, tailored coaching programme that promotes participation and supports the physical development of all pupils. The role involves coaching various physical activities aligned with the school's PE, physical development, and sport curriculum, as well as building community links to enhance pupils' engagement in sport beyond the classroom.
