Your Role as an SEN / SEND Tutor

As an SEN / SEND Tutor, you will provide tailored tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with a variety of learning needs. Your role will involve:

• Planning engaging and holistic sessions that cater to each student's unique needs.
• Providing flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Completing lesson reports and offering constructive feedback on student progress.

Who We're Looking For

• Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS).
• A minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
• Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs.
• Knowledge of safeguarding processes.
• An Enhanced DBS (we can assist with this if needed).
• Two professional references.
• Eligibility to work in the UK, even for remote assignments.

Employment Details

This position involves engaging with us as a Worker, providing short-term engagements as they arise. You will:

• Work through a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
• Not have a set amount of work or expenses coverage.
• Be covered by our insurance for the work you do.
