Qualifications

About the Role

Core subjects (Maths, English, or Science) SEN / SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs are required in Cheshire.

Multiple positions are available, and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support.

We aim to transform the quality of education for young people with SEN / SEND, SEMH needs, MLD, and SLD, providing support through flexible, trauma-informed, and holistic tutoring.

Role Responsibilities
  • Providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND and SEMH needs
  • Supporting children referred by local authorities and schools
  • Delivering trauma-informed, holistic tutoring and mentoring
  • Planning sessions and assessing progress through reports and feedback
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or related needs
  • Understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (assistance available to obtain)
  • Two professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
Employment Details
  • Engagement as a Worker with short-term opportunities
