Job summary

A tutoring organization in the UK is seeking an experienced SEN/SEMH Tutor to work with children in a 1:1 setting. The role involves helping children with various difficulties, including ADHD and Dyslexia, as well as mental health issues like Depression and Anxiety. Candidates must possess a PGCE with QTS and have at least 2 years of teaching experience in the UK.

Qualifications

• Must have a PGCE with QTS.
• 2 years of experience teaching in the UK required.
• Knowledge of SEN & SEMH support is essential.

Responsibilities

• Teach SEN kids in a 1:1 setting.
• Support children with mental health issues.
• Assist students in completing GCSEs/SATS.

Job description

Remedy Tutors are looking for a flexible, experienced and qualified SEN/SEMH Tutor to help SEN kids fulfill their true potential and integrate them back into mainstream to complete their GCSE's/SATS.

You will be teaching face to face in a 1:1 setting either at the child's home with a parent or carer present, or in a local library or in a private room in a school. You will be helping kids that suffer with various difficulties including, ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia etc...

You will also have to guide and support kids suffering with various mental health issues such as Depression, Anxiety etc...

Minimum Requirements:

• PGCE with a QTS
• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• 2 years experience teaching in the UK
• Knowledge of SEN & SEMH support
