Your role will include:
Working 1:1 or in small groups with secondary-age pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs
Supporting a curriculum rooted in life skills, personal development, and trauma-informed practice
Collaborating with a brilliant team of teachers, therapists, and behaviour specialists
Helping students build confidence, resilience, and readiness for the next steps in life
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children or young people with SEMH, trauma backgrounds, or additional needs
Understands that some days will be tough—but believes in fresh starts every morning
Can stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing needs
Wants to be part of a team that truly values emotional literacy, positive relationships, and student voice

Weekly pay through PAYE – no umbrella companies
FREE access to Thrive training (brilliant if you want to boost your trauma-informed practice)
Personalised support from your Protocol Education consultant
Long-term roles in schools that genuinely value their support staff
CPD, career development, and the chance to really make a difference
