SEN (SEMH) Teacher | September 2025

Location: Hillingdon

Full-time, 5 days per week

Salary: M1 Outer London £36,413 - UPS3 Outer London £53,994

Are you an experienced, confident SEN Teacher looking to work in a supportive, caring primary school this September? If so, we want to hear from you!

Teach Plus are currently working with a 1-form entry, ‘OUTSTANDING' primary school located in Hillingdon who are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join them this September.

The school is a welcoming, nurturing primary school with a strong sense of community throughout.Pupil's behaviour is exceptionally well, and the staff feel very well supported by leaders and each other.

The school are looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join the Lower Key Stage 2 team and lead a class of pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour.

As a SEN Teacher you will be required to:

• Plan and deliver differentiated and engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of pupils with SEMH and associated behavioural challenges
• Take on full classroom responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessments
• Use a range of different primary class teacher strategies and resources to support pupils' learning and development
• Maintain consistent relationships with parents surrounding their academic progression

The ideal candidate for the SEN Teacher role will have:

• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
• Proven experience working in an SEN or SEMH setting, particularly with challenging behaviour.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills with a calm, consistent, and nurturing approach
• A strong work ethic who is willing to commit for at least one academic year
• UK recognized Teaching Qualification with QTS
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
• Right to work in the UK
