Job Description:

We're working on behalf of a truly brilliant special school on the outskirts of Newbury, seeking SEN & SEMH Learning Support Assistants for an immediate start.

The school has a number of opportunities due to increased student numbers, making this an exciting time to join. Currently, two LSAs are working long-term at the school and highly praise the staff and rewarding work environment.

The role

The primary responsibility of the LSA is to provide 1-1 support to students in classroom settings. Some students may exhibit challenging behavior, so experience in de-escalation is important.

We are an independent agency working with nurseries, primary, secondary, and special schools.

Our aim is to provide a transparent, straightforward service to help candidates secure their next role.

We prioritize excellent support, listening, and valuing our candidates. Your dedicated consultant will understand your experience and preferences, providing regular updates and tailored role suggestions.

As proud REC members, we adhere to high compliance standards, offering support through the clearance process with your dedicated in-house compliance team.

Additional benefits include:

  • Guarantee Pay Scheme opportunities
  • Permanent roles
  • Support during clearance and onboarding
  • Agency Workers Regulations compliance
  • Interview preparation and advice
  • Employment rights such as sick pay, holiday pay, maternity, and paternity pay
