Job summary

The Education Network is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work within an SEN/SEMH environment. You will support children and young people, focusing on wellbeing, communication and social development, under the guidance of teaching staff.

Applicants should have Level 2/3 or be a Psychology graduate, with at least 6 months relevant experience. Enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks are required. You will join a supportive team committed to safeguarding and pupil progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months relevant experience in education or care settings.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure is required.
• Qualified to Level 2 or 3 or a psychology graduate actively seeking education work.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people in SEN/SEMH settings to promote well‑being, communication and social development.
• Assist teachers with learning activities and behaviour management under supervision.
• Build trust and engagement with students to encourage participation and progress.
