SEN Secondary Teaching Assistant Job Description

  • Based in Hounslow
  • Working in an excellent secondary school
  • Monday - Friday (no weekends)
  • Long-Term, Full-Time (termtime only)
  • 105 - 115 daily rate
  • September 2025 Start

About The SEN Secondary Teaching Assistant Role

  • Providing support to class teachers within the classroom
  • Assisting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
  • Supporting pupils in and out of lessons (KS3, KS4, KS5)
  • Monitoring and recording interventions
  • Setting targets for individuals to work towards
