Horizon Care and Education is seeking a SEN Science Teacher for Tipton Green School in Dudley. The role focuses on teaching Science to students with SEN at the secondary level, within a specialist college setting.

The successful candidate will demonstrate passion, energy, and expertise in SEMH and SEN needs, with safeguarding qualifications and a proactive approach to planning and collaboration with the school’s therapeutic team.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS qualification is required.
• Safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge preferred.
• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with energy, drive and initiative.
• Experience with SEMH and other specialist needs is desirable.
• Knowledge of current developments in education and SEN practices.

Responsibilities

• Teach Science to students with SEN at secondary level.
• Develop bespoke learning plans and supportive therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with Curriculum Directors, SENCo and therapeutic team to support pupils.
