The role involves assisting teachers in physical education and providing tailored support to students. Ideal candidates should have nurturing qualities and experience with SEN children, along with a Teaching Assistant qualification, although this is not essential. The position is temporary with a minimum daily pay rate of £85+.

Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a Sports Coach to work at a specialist High school in Rochdale, Greater Manchester.
The school is for children aged 5-16 years old with moderate and complex learning difficulties, ASD and those with trauma informed behavioural difficulties. Students attending receive a tailored curriculum best suited to their needs and ability and the school offers a fantastic approach to learning.
The role of a sports coach will be to assist the teachers in PE & outdoor activities, Horticulture and class excursions. You may have the responsibility of taking small groups and planning sessions for those groups. Alternatively, you may be asked to support students within the classroom settings too.
