Job summary

London SEN School is seeking an experienced HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist to join a multidisciplinary SEND team from September 2026. You will work directly with children and young people with diverse communication, language, autism and complex SEND needs to support access to education and independence.

The role involves assessments, intervention, and advisory work across the school, with collaboration to embed communication strategies throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration required.
• Experience working with children in SEN settings.
• Excellent assessment, intervention and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess pupils' speech, language and communication needs.
• Develop and deliver individual and group therapy plans.
• Provide strategies to teaching staff and support staff.
• Contribute to EHCP assessments and reviews.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
