Job summary

TimePlan Education Group Limited is seeking a highly organised School Administrator to support a SEN school in East Cheshire. Start September 2026 on a full-time, long-term to permanent basis. The role involves providing essential administrative and secretarial support across the school.

Qualifications

  • Previous school administration experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Strong minute-taking and recording abilities.
  • Highly organised with excellent time-management.
  • Confident working with senior leaders and managing multiple priorities.
  • Professional, approachable and discreet with safeguarding and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive school administration and secretarial support.
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team on day-to-day administration.
  • Arrange meetings, maintain diaries and coordinate appointments.
  • Attend meetings and produce accurate, professional minutes and records.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, documents and other school communications.
  • Maintain accurate records, databases and confidential information.
  • Respond professionally to telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries.
  • Support staff, parents, visitors and external professionals.
  • Assist with general office administration and the smooth running of the school.
