Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate SEN Provision Teaching Assistant to support a small KS1/KS2 class in Central Bristol. This long-term role starts in September and offers a stable, nurturing environment with a dedicated team.

The successful candidate will have SEN experience, strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers and parents. A Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning is desirable but not essential.

Job description

Location: Central Bristol

Hours: Full time, 5 days per week

Pay: £92.26 - £105 per day

We are working with a mainstream primary school in Central Bristol who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their SEN provision. This is a long term role starting in September, supporting a lovely small class of children across KS1 and KS2.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is experienced in supporting children with special educational needs and thrives in a nurturing, smaller classroom environment. The school has a welcoming and supportive team and is committed to providing the best outcomes for all pupils.

Key details:

• Role: SEN Provision Teaching Assistant (KS1/KS2)
• Days: Full time, 5 days per week
• Pay: £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
• Duration: Long term, starting September

Person specification:

• Experience working with children with special educational needs
• A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
• Experience supporting children with autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH or communication needs
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with teachers, parents and external professionals
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning is desirable but not essential
