Job summary

Tilewood School in Buckinghamshire is seeking a SEN Primary Teacher to join the founding team. You will plan personalised lessons, develop IEPs and behavioural plans, and monitor progress while fostering a nurturing, inclusive environment.

As part of Outcomes First Group, you will collaborate across specialists to build a calm, ambitious school culture where every child is known and valued. This fixed-term—no sponsorship—permanent post offers term-time consistency.

Qualifications

  • Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.

Responsibilities

SEN Primary TeacherLocation: Tilewood School, Buckinghamshire, MK18 5AN

Salary

Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)

Hours

40 hours per week | Monday to Friday

Contract

Permanent | Term time only

What You'll Be Doing
  • Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons for individuals and small groups, tailored to students' individual needs.
  • Create, review and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Behaviour Plans and personalised learning programmes.
  • Monitor, assess and celebrate student progress, maintaining accurate records and identifying next steps.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence and achievement.
  • Support students' emotional wellbeing, behaviour and personal development using nurturing and therapeutic approaches.
  • Work collaboratively with Learning Support Assistants, therapists, families and the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, whole-school improvement and the continued growth of our brand-new school.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of every student, ensuring the highest standards of care, wellbeing and inclusion.
About You
  • HoldsQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
