Experienced Primary SEN Teacher required for a permanent job starting in April 2025.

We are currently working with an Ofsted "Outstanding" SEN school in Winsford, West Cheshire, to support them in recruiting an experienced teacher for a permanent role starting in April 2025. The school offers opportunities in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 2 and is considering applications from ECTs and experienced teachers with relevant experience.

Your new company

You will be working in a large SEN school that specializes in supporting pupils with severe learning difficulties and complex needs. The school has an Ofsted rating of "Outstanding" and staff work diligently to create an environment where pupils can flourish. The school delivers a bespoke curriculum designed specifically for their learners to engage in education and all aspects of school life.

Your new role

As a teacher at the school, you will work in a class of 9-11 pupils and be supported by three teaching assistants. Your responsibilities include planning, resourcing, and delivering engaging and creative lessons aligned with the school's bespoke curriculum, tailored to meet the needs of the children you teach.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified teacher status.
  • Experience teaching pupils with SLD and complex needs.
  • Experience working within an EYFS or KS2 setting (useful but not essential).
  • An up-to-date DBS or willingness to obtain one.
  • The ability to provide an inspiring, engaging, and safe learning environment.
