Job summary

REESON Education is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher for a supportive SEN school in Brixton. The role covers Key Stage 1-2 with complex needs and ASD, offering a structured, inclusive learning environment and close collaboration with therapists.

You will plan tailored lessons, monitor progress, and help pupils develop communication, independence and life skills in a warm, safeguarding‑minded setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience or strong understanding of supporting students with ASD and complex needs.
• Secondary school teaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver personalised lessons using a differentiated and adapted secondary curriculum.
• Support students with complex needs, including ASD, communication difficulties and sensory needs.
• Work closely with therapists and other professionals.
• Create a structured and supportive classroom environment.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
• Lead and collaborate with the classroom support team.
