Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with a heart for supporting children with special educational needs? A welcoming and well-resourced Primary School in Bacup is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their team for the 2025-2026 academic year.

About the Role:
  1. Job Share with the school's experienced SENCO, working closely together to support learning and development.
  2. Deliver high-quality teaching to a small class of 12 pupils with mixed SEN needs.
  3. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual EHCPs and learning goals.
  4. Collaborate with a skilled support team to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
  1. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
  2. Has experience teaching in SEN settings - either in a mainstream SEN classroom or a specialist school - desirable.
  3. Demonstrates strong understanding of differentiation, behaviour strategies, and SEN teaching approaches.
  4. Brings compassion, creativity, and resilience to the classroom.
Working Days:
  1. 3 days per week - flexible on which days, offering a great work/life balance.
  2. Term-time only, from September 2025 to July 2026.
