Job summary

A leading education recruitment agency in Bromsgrove is looking for a dedicated candidate to provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN). The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, starting as soon as possible. Experience in a school setting and working with SEN is essential. You will work closely with teachers to ensure an engaging classroom environment.

Job description
Overview

Location: Bromsgrove

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Pay: From £89 per day (PAYE) depending on experience

Start Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities
  • Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs (SEN)
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Support students' academic, emotional, and social development
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other school staff
  • Help create an inclusive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
Requirements
  • Previous school-based experience is essential
  • Experience working with children with SEN is essential
  • Positive, patient, and flexible approach to supporting young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
