Remedy Education is seeking a caring SEN Outreach Tutor to support a student with Special Educational Needs in Southend-on-Sea. The role involves delivering 15 hours of tailored education each week in a 1:1 setting.

You will adapt lessons to the learner's needs, track progress, liaise with parents and professionals, and create a safe, encouraging learning environment. DBS checks and safeguarding compliance are required.

Qualificações

• Experience working with students with SEN and delivering 1:1 tuition.
• Ability to adapt lessons to individual needs and abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to creating a calm, supportive learning environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 15 hours of 1:1 educational support per week.
• Deliver personalised lessons reflecting the student’s learning needs and abilities.
• Encourage participation, engagement and a positive attitude towards learning.
• Help develop the student’s confidence, independence and social skills.
• Adapt teaching approaches and resources to support progress.
• Track learning outcomes and maintain progress records.
• Communicate with parents/carers and relevant professionals as appropriate.
• Create a safe, welcoming learning environment.
