A leading educational services provider is seeking a skilled SEN teacher to work 1:1 with children aged 4-18 in Essex. Qualifications

• At least 2 years SEN/D teaching/tutoring experience in the UK.
• DBS registered on the update service or willing to apply for a new one.
• Ideally have completed safeguarding training up to level 2.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children aged 4-18 in alternative educational settings.
• Provide specialised educational support in line with students' EHCP outcomes.

Job description

Are you an SEN teacher or tutor that lives in and around the Essex area and surrounding area? I have an opening for a skilled SEN teacher to work 1:1 with children aged 4-18 in alternative educational settings such as within the home, a library or other appropriate location.

You will be working 1:1 with students that require specialised educational support in line with their EHCP educational outcomes. We work with children with a diverse range of SEN/Ds and are looking for experienced professionals within the field with a range of experience across the SEN curriculum, able to fully meet their needs.

You should have a good working knowledge of the National Curriculum for SEN with:

• a UK recognised teaching qualification
• at least 2 years SEN/D teaching/tutoring experience in the UK
• a DBS registered on the update service (if not you can apply for a new DBS with Remedy)
• a passion to work with and help SEN students progress
• ideally have completed safeguarding training up to level 2
