Student Teaching Assistant

Knowsley, Liverpool

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Student Teaching Assistant to support students in a Secondary SEMH school in Knowsley, Liverpool.

The school caters to students in Key Stages 3 and 4 with an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) diagnosed with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH).

This position is open to individuals who have recently finished sixth form, college, or graduated from university or sixth form college.

Ideally, candidates will have a background or studied in areas such as health & social care, psychology, youth work, or sports coaching.

If you have completed placements as part of your course in a formal setting, supported students, or have experience mentoring children and young adults (paid or unpaid), we would love to hear from you.

Depending on performance, the school may extend the contract or offer a permanent position.

The school is located within Knowsley and is easily accessible by public transport, with onsite parking available.
