Job summary

Senovo is recruiting a SEN Literacy Intervention Assistant to support literacy, phonics and reading work with pupils in Croydon. The role adapts activities for SEND needs and tracks progress for teaching staff. Right-to-work, references and safeguarding checks are required; QTS is not necessary for this support role.

Prior experience in literacy support, phonics and SEND is desirable and candidates may come from school, tutoring, youth or SEND backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Experience in literacy intervention and phonics
• Experience with SEND, reading support or tutoring is desirable
• QTS is not required; safeguarding checks will be conducted
