Position: Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Vacancy Reference: HVT0653

Main responsibilities include:

  • In-class support, group work, interventions, 1:1 support, first aid, and general welfare responsibilities in collaboration with the SENDco.

The role requires a good knowledge of current practices, including phonics, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team spirit.

Details:

  • Grade 3-4 plus SEN allowance
  • 32 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, fixed-term contract
  • Salary: £18,218 - £18,922
Candidate requirements:
  • CACHE Level 2 in Teaching and Learning or equivalent
  • Effective practitioner with a desire to improve practice
  • High expectations and experience working with pupils on a 1:1 basis
  • Excellent communication skills, organization, motivation, and flexibility
  • Ability to promote the school's vision and values with high professional standards
