Job summary

Two Bridges Academy in Frampton Cotterell, South Gloucestershire, seeks a part-time Learning Support Assistant (13 hours per week, Thursday to Friday, term-time only) to support pupils with: SLD and PMLD, ASC, and SLCN. Fixed-term to 31 August 2027, you will assist the class teacher, plan activities, and help pupils reach learning goals.

You will join a supportive team with induction and ongoing training. The role offers a valued contribution to a new expanding school serving diverse SEND needs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SLD or PMLD.
• Ability to work with pupils who have ASC or SLCN identified on EHCP.
• Effective communication and teamwork with teachers and LSAs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering learning to small groups under the supervision of the class teacher.
• Prepare and support activities to meet individual pupil goals.
• Support pupils to navigate the school day and access therapeutic activities.
• Monitor pupil progress and share information with the class teacher.
