Job summary

Collingwood College in Camberley is seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant to provide key SEN support in the classroom and work with teaching staff to ensure learning needs are met.

You will support pupils with SEN, adapt learning activities, monitor progress, and contribute to safeguarding. GCSE English and Maths at C or above, plus experience with SEN and behaviour management, are required.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at C grade or above.
• Experience of supporting pupils with SEN and managing behaviours.
• Awareness of safeguarding and the latest SEN policies.
• Ability to communicate progress with strong written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised SEN provision and adapt learning to make it accessible.
• Support pupils in accessing the curriculum at appropriate levels.
• Provide pastoral support and monitor progress, feeding back to the class teacher.
• Collaborate with outside agencies to support EHCP provisions.
