Job summary

Chiltern Hills Academy in Chesham seeks a skilled, self-motivating individual to foster learning in children with SEN and disabilities. The role offers bespoke CPD, leadership development, and clear progression within the academy while ensuring safeguarding standards are met.

The successful candidate will collaborate with teaching staff, deliver activities under supervision, support literacy/numeracy, and tailor teaching materials to meet individual needs.

Qualifications

Experience supporting learning in SEN contexts.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance initial instruction and provide support to individuals, small groups, and full classes.
Deliver educational activities under supervision, adjusting based on student responses.
Assist in students' learning to achieve expected progress levels.
Support literacy development where needed to help progression.
Adapt literacy or numeracy materials to suit student groups.
Demonstrate enthusiasm, energy, resilience, and perseverance; embody academy values.
