Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to work across specialist schools in the Southampton area. You will support pupils with SEND, work 1:1 or in small groups, and assist with classroom activities to boost independence and confidence.

We offer flexible opportunities including day-to-day supply and full-time roles, weekly pay, and a dedicated consultant to support you through placements. All applicants must have the appropriate qualifications and training.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people desirable but not essential.
• Caring, patient and compassionate, reliable and enthusiastic.
• Confident building positive relationships with young people.
• Adaptable to meet individual pupil needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or small-group support in lessons.
• Assist with classroom activities and behaviour management.
• Help pupils develop confidence, communication and independence.
