Job summary

Tauheedul Islam Girls' High School and Sixth Form College is seeking a Teaching and Learning Assistant to support students with additional needs and to assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent and experience working with children in a school setting, with the ability to relate well

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children in a school setting.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
• Ability to work with pupils on a one to one, small groups and whole class.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support the teacher in the classroom and in preparation for lessons.

• Help develop programmes of learning activities and adapt appropriate materials.
