GSL Education are recruiting a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join an Alternative Provision in Newton Abbot, supporting pupils aged 5-16 with personalised education plans.

You will build positive relationships, deliver one-to-one and small-group mentoring, and help students develop confidence, resilience and employability through sport and practical learning, both on-site and within the local community.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children aged 5-16 in educational settings.
• Background in behaviour support or mentoring.
• Ability to motivate and engage students through sport and practical activities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Build strong relationships with pupils aged 5-16.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group mentoring.
• Support emotional regulation and social development.
• Encourage engagement through sport and practical learning.
• Collaborate with staff and external partners.
