SEN KS2/KS3 Teacher - Dawlish SEN School (Start September 2025)

Are you a dedicated and compassionate teacher with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs? A welcoming SEN school in Dawlish is seeking a full-time SEN KS2/KS3 Teacher to join their supportive and inclusive team, starting in September 2025.

Position Details

Role: SEN KS2/KS3 Teacher

Location: Dawlish SEN School

Start Date: September 2025

Contract Type: Full-time - Monday to Friday

Agency: Teaching Personnel

Equivalent Salary: £31,650 - £45,646 per annum (MPS/UPS FTE) + SEN Allowance

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons for learners across KS2 and KS3 with a range of SEN needs

  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports emotional regulation and academic progress

  • Work collaboratively with support staff and therapists to deliver individualised education plans (IEPs)

  • Track and report on student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed

Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching in SEN settings or with pupils with complex needs

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A nurturing, adaptable, and resilient approach to teaching
