Job description

Your new role

We are working with a school in the South Liverpool area that is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to start in September. The position is full-time and temporary, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have previous SEN experience, working 1:1 with pupils with various needs.

You will provide 1:1 support to help the child stay on task, understand instructions, complete activities, and achieve personal goals.

Desirable Experience: Modifying instructions, implementing reward strategies, providing emotional and physical support, managing behaviours, and working on social and motor skills goals.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
• Full DBS on the update service
• Skills in communication, literacy & numeracy
• Experience working with children with different needs
