HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) - Greenwich

Location: Greenwich

Start Date: ASAP start

Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday) 8.30am until 3.30pm

Responsibilities / Role

The school is seeking a dedicated HLTA to join their team and support pupils in a welcoming and inclusive SEN Secondary School in Greenwich. The role includes leading small group work and covering lessons in the teacher's absence where required, with a proactive and flexible approach to support learning development.

Requirements / Qualifications

• A recognised HLTA qualification or a Level 4 or above child-related qualification


• Previous experience supporting learning within a Secondary school setting


• Confidence in leading small group work and covering lessons in the teacher's absence


• Strong communication skills and a flexible, proactive approach


• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development as an HLTA
