Position: SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Location: Kempston

Salary: £20,000 - £23,000

Are you a qualified SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with additional needs? Are you looking to deepen your impact and take the next step in your career in Kempston - either within education or towards a clinical support role?

Join an outstanding Special Educational Needs school in Kempston as a SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant, where you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, and other complex profiles.

Your Role as an SEN HLTA:

* Deliver targeted academic and behavioural interventions, 1:1 and in small groups

* Lead and support learning activities in collaboration with teaching staff and therapists

* Contribute to the development and implementation of individual education and behaviour plans

* Foster emotional regulation, independence, and positive engagement in learning

What We're Looking For:

* HLTA Status (Level 4 or equivalent qualification)

* Proven experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ideally in specialist settings

* A calm, reflective, and proactive approach to behaviour and communication support

* A genuine interest in professional development and SEN best practice

Progression & Professional Development:
