Job summary

Aspire People are currently recruiting an experienced SEN Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Northampton. The role is in a dedicated SEN Communication and Interaction Unit, supporting pupils with additional needs to reach their full potential.

You will deliver engaging, differentiated learning experiences tailored to each child's abilities and development, with a focus on inclusive education and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience working with children with SEN, particularly communication and interaction needs.
• Experience within EYFS and/or Key Stage 1
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and differentiated learning experiences tailored to each child's individual needs.
• Work as part of a supportive team to support pupils with additional needs.
• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and manage behaviours effectively.
