Young Giants Education in Wimbledon Park, United Kingdom, invites tutors to deliver bespoke 1:1 sessions for learners with SEND. Sessions occur during the day, in the learner’s home or local venue, following fixed timetables.

You will act as an employment coach and ICT specialist, delivering assistive technology training, using engaging, student-centered approaches and building trusting relationships to bolster confidence and progress.

Qualifikationen

• Experienced as an employment coach and ICT specialist who can provide ATT training (essential).

• Strong safeguarding knowledge and willingness to complete mandatory training.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain).

The Role

You’ll use your relevant knowledge and experience to deliver bespoke 1:1 tuition sessions to our learners with SEND, including Autism, ADHD and SEMH.

Sessions will always take place during the day, according to fixed timetables, either in a learner’s home or local community venue.

More specifically, you will:

• Be an employment coach and ICT specialist who can provide assistive technology training
• Use creative, engaging educational approaches tailored to each learner’s interests.
• Build positive relationships and foster confidence in our learners.

Requirements

About You

We’re looking for passionate tutors with the following qualifications, experience and skills:

• At least 2 years of experience teaching SEN learners
• Experienced as an employment coach and ICT specialist who can provide ATT training (essential)
• The ability to combine mentoring and academics, building trust and supporting each learner on their personal journey
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and a willingness to complete any mandatory training necessary in this area
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to obtain)
• Ability to travel to learner locations
• Dedication to making a long-term difference in our learners’ lives
• Compassion, patience and resilience
