Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is recruiting for a term-time teaching post on MacIntyre's No Limits education programme. The role involves personalised teaching of life skills, literacy, numeracy and ICT in community, work placements and classroom settings.

Full-time (38 hours) and part-time hours are offered over 37 weeks a year; applicants need their own vehicle and a UK driving licence, plus GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above and a Level 3 Award in Education and Training.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above or equivalent.
• Level 3 Award in Education and Training, provided free by the employer if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Teach life skills, literacy, numeracy and ICT tailored to each student.
• Deliver individualised learning for learners with learning difficulties or autism.
• Run real-world learning in the community and on work placements.
• Personalise support to each learner's interests and needs.
• Support learners from their homes across the area, travelling by car.
