SEN Early Years Teacher

Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Teacher to join our team and provide high-quality education and support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), for Primary schools within Trafford Greater Manchester.

The Candidate

Are you a passionate and experienced Early Years SEN Teacher able to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for pupils with SEN? Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience supporting students with SEN, preferably in an Early Years setting.
  • Have worked on a 1:1 basis with SEN pupils.
  • Have a creative approach to learning, using interactive and practical strategies to engage pupils.
  • Strong teamwork skills, working closely with parents, school staff and outside agencies to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Have a proactive and adaptable approach to classroom teaching.
  • Strong understanding of SEN needs and how to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with personal care as required.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new DBS check.
