We work on behalf of a number of special schools in Gloucester, Cheltenham, and the surrounding areas. These schools have recently had an increased need for specialist teachers to provide cover.

The schools vary in type, including more SEMH-focused schools and general SEND schools (SLD, MLD, PMLD, Complex Needs). They are open to applications from both full-time and part-time teachers, offering significant flexibility within this role.

The role

The SEN Cover Teacher role involves leading pre-planned cover across different classes as needed. You will serve as the school's all-rounder, providing support wherever required.

You should be adaptable to different classroom environments. No planning or marking is required; the focus is on managing classes and behavior. Teaching experience in schools is essential, but applications from unqualified teachers with excellent SEN experience are welcomed.
