An established industry player is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support learning in schools around Bedford. This role is perfect for those with teaching assistant experience, youth leadership, or coaching backgrounds. You will step into classrooms to deliver preplanned lessons, ensuring students continue their educational journey. The position offers flexibility, allowing you to work on short notice and gain valuable experience in various educational settings. Teaching Personnel are currently looking for Cover Supervisors that are keen to work across multiple schools in and around the Bedford area. As a cover supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out lessons in the absence of full-time staff and ensure that children still receive high level learning to achieve their goals.
This is an ideal role for those who are a very experienced teaching assistant, a youth support worker/leader or a sports coach as these leadership skills really come into play.
You will be expected to deliver the work set by the permanent member of staff for each lesson.
If you are looking to become a teacher in the future and want to network in a variety of schools or enjoy supporting young people and want to do this in a classroom, then we can provide you with regular daily/long-term work. Whether you are looking for flexible work or something a bit more long-term, we would love to hear from you. Working on a supply basis will require you to ideally have your own form of transport/access to good public transport links.
