Job summary

Flexzo Teach is seeking a Coach/SEN Support to connect education professionals with local schools for short term, long term and permanent roles near Ivinghoe, Milton Keynes. You will guide learners with tailored educational and emotional pathways in a countryside setting.

The role emphasises trauma-informed practice, curiosity-driven learning, and building confidence and independence for children aged 6–14. A driver with access to a vehicle is essential due to rural location and transport links.

Qualifications

Experience in Alternative Provision, SEN/SEMH support, Forest Schools, Montessori settings, Early Years, Nurture groups, Youth Work, or Therapeutic education.
Driver with access to a vehicle due to rural location.
Right to work in the UK and DBS checks (UKDBS) or willingness to complete.

Responsibilities

Deliver a creative, hands-on, nature-based curriculum tailored to individual student interests and strengths.
Act as a trusted, positive role model, offering a safe, relationship-centred space where children feel heard and valued.
Implement trauma-informed strategies to help students navigate stress, anxiety, or emotional regulation needs in real-time.
Foster a curiosity-driven learning environment, helping learners build essential life skills, independence, and social confidence.
Collaborate within a small, dedicated team to adapt learning pathways dynamically, viewing behaviour as a form of communication.
