Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (9am–5pm)

We’re working with a fantastic college in Walthamstow that supports students aged 16+ with a range of additional needs—and they’re on the lookout for a brilliant SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting students with EHCPs to access learning and college life
  • Working closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to adapt lessons
  • Helping build confidence, independence, and routine
  • Bringing your top-tier safeguarding knowledge to every interaction

  • Someone who “gets” EHCPs and how they shape support
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
  • Calm, reliable, and positive—you’re the steady presence in the room
  • Previous experience with post-16 or complex SEN settings? Even better
