SEN Class Teacher
Hillingdon, West London
£45,000 to £60,000 (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)
Start date: SEPT 2025/ASAP

We are looking for a passionate and committed SEND Teacher (QTS) to join a welcoming secondary setting in Uxbridge this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a small, supportive class of 7 learners with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), making a meaningful difference every day.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs and learning needs.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists and families to support each learner's holistic development.
  • Promote communication, emotional regulation, independence and essential life skills.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
  • Experience or a strong interest in working with students with SLD.
  • Creativity, resilience and a genuine passion for inclusive education.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and a proactive, positive approach.
