Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a SEN Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave at a community-focused primary school in Whitechapel, East London. The role starts January with a paid handover in December, teaching a class of 10 pupils with complex needs.

You will be supported by four experienced Teaching Assistants and work closely with a hands-on SENDCO to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of care for the pupils.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS and have proven track record of teaching children with complex needs.
• Experienced SEN Teacher with high energy and passion for inclusive education.
• Strong leadership to direct and collaborate with a team of TAs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small class of 10 pupils with complex needs.
• Collaborate with 4 Teaching Assistants who know the pupils well.
• Work closely with the SENDCO to ensure a smooth handover starting December.
