SEN Catering Teacher - PRU(Pupil Referral Unit) - Croydon, London

Title: SEN Catering Teacher

Location: Croydon, CR0
Part Time: 3 Days Per Week (Flexible)
Time: 9:30am - 3:30pm (1hr Lunch)
Start Date: October 2025
Contract: Long-term
Rate: Paid according to your teaching scale

You will be teaching Catering to a small class of up to 8 pupils. Classes will include mixed ages and genders - for example, you could have both Year 7 and Year 11 students in the same group.

As part of the role, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and assessing lessons to meet the needs of all learners.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Catering to a mixed-ability class in a PRU setting (up to 8 pupils).

• Plan, prepare, teach, and assess lessons to meet the needs of all learners.

• Adapt delivery to support pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviours.

• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to pupils and relevant staff.
