Job Title: SEN Care Teaching Assistant
Location: SEN School - Lambeth, London
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: 100 - 120 per day (dependent on experience)

A fantastic SEN school in Lambeth is seeking a SEN Care Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. The role involves providing classroom and personal care support to students with a range of needs, including autism, PMLD, and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and group support to students with complex learning and care needs

• Assist with personal care tasks including toileting, feeding, and hygiene

• Implement behaviour management strategies and tailored learning activities

• Support the class teacher in delivering an inclusive and engaging curriculum

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and positive learning environment

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young adults with SEN (preferred but not essential)

• Comfortable providing personal care support

• Empathetic, reliable, and physically able to assist with moving and handling (training can be provided)

• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Right to work in the UK
