We're on the lookout for compassionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our client school in Lyndhurst, Hampshire, supporting pupils aged 5-19 with Autism Spectrum Condition and behavioural needs.

A Day in the Life of a SEN Behaviour Support Buddy

  • You'll work alongside caring teachers and tutors, supporting students as they navigate their learning day.

  • You'll play a key role in helping young people build their confidence, learn social skills, and use positive behaviour strategies.

  • Whether it's working one-on-one or in a small group, you'll be part of those moments that make all the difference.



What We're Looking For

  • A kind heart, a patient mindset, and a collaborative attitude.

  • GCSE Maths & English (grade C or level 4) are essential.

  • Previous experience is a bonus, but if you're new and passionate, we'll help you find your feet.

  • A resilient and proactive approach to supporting students with diverse needs.



The Details

  • Hours: 08:30 - 16:30 (Mon-Tue), 08:30 - 16:00 (Wed-Thu), and 08:30 - 15:00 (Fri).

  • Term-time only (39 weeks per year).

  • Hourly rate starting at 13.96.

  • Location: Lyndhurst, Hampshire (transport links available).

  • Contract: Temp-to-Perm



What You'll Need to Join

  • The right to work in the UK.

  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one).

  • Two professional references from education or childcare.
