We are seeking a SEN Behaviour Support Buddy!

Prospero Teaching are on the lookout for compassionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our client primary school in Hove, supporting pupils with special educational needs and behavioral challenges.

Whether you're experienced in behaviour support or simply passionate about helping others, we'd love to hear from you.



A Day in the Life of a SEN Behaviour Support Buddy

  • You'll work alongside caring teachers and tutors, supporting students as they navigate their learning day.

  • You'll play a key role in helping young people build their confidence, learn social skills, and use positive behaviour strategies.

  • Whether it's working one-on-one or in a small group, you'll be part of those moments that make all the difference.



What We're Looking For

  • A kind heart, a patient mindset, and a collaborative attitude.

  • GCSE Maths & English (grade C or level 4) are essential.

  • Previous experience is a bonus, but if you're new and passionate, we'll help you find your feet.

  • A resilient and proactive approach to supporting students with diverse needs.



The Details

  • Hours: 08:30 - 15:30pm

  • Term-time only (39 weeks per year).

  • Hourly rate starting at 13.96.

  • Location: Hove

  • Contract: Ongoing



What You'll Need to Join

  • The right to work in the UK.

  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one).

  • Two professional references from education or childcare.
