Location: Romford, Greater London
Type: Temporary, Full-Time
Salary: £83.85 - £85 Per Day + £50 Referral Bonus

Your Role:

As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide Individualised Support: Work closely with students to implement tailored education plans and behaviour strategies.
• Assist with Development: Support academic tasks, personal care, and social skills to help students thrive in all areas of life.
• Collaborate for Success: Work with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure students receive holistic, consistent support.
• Manage Challenging Behaviours: Use your expertise in behaviour management to create a safe, positive learning environment.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Qualifications:
• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
• Level 3 qualification or training in behaviour management techniques is a bonus!
• Experience:
• Prior experience working with individuals with SEN and challenging behaviours is essential.
• Skills & Attributes:
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Resilience and the ability to manage challenging situations effectively.
• Knowledge of SEN strategies and behaviour management techniques.
