Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd. is recruiting an ASC Teacher (KS3/KS4) for a thriving independent specialist education provider.

You will teach pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition in small classes of up to eight, delivering engaging, creative lessons and supporting personal development. Join a multi-disciplinary team with excellent support, where you will foster confidence, communication and life skills while maintaining strong relationships with parents and carers.

Qualifications

  • QTS/QTLS or equivalent is required.
  • Experience teaching children with ASC, SEN, SEMH or additional learning needs.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and differentiated learning.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Teach pupils with ASC, SEN and additional complex needs.
  • Differentiate learning to meet EHCPs.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Build relationships that promote confidence, engagement and wellbeing.
  • Monitor progress and celebrate achievements.
  • Undertake tutor responsibilities and provide pastoral support.
  • Collaborate with therapists and pastoral teams.
  • Communicate with parents, carers and professionals.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and teaching improvements.
